Aiman graduated with Masters of Arts (MA) in Islamic Finance from the renowned Durham University in United Kingdom. He received his Bachelors’ Degree in Laws (LL.B.) (First Class Honours) from the International Islamic University Malaysia and was subsequently called to the Malaysian Bar in January 2012.

Aiman’s expertise covers matters on Islamic financial services and general corporate commercial. On Islamic financial services, Aiman has advised on various retail, corporate, and syndicated financing facilities, treasury products, Sukuks (Islamic bonds) and Islamic governance mechanisms and guidelines, among others.

On general corporate commercial, Aiman has advised on numerous Joint-Venture agreements, Share sales and purchase agreements, Articles/Memorandum of Association, investment guidelines and many others.

Prior to joining MAHA Lawyers, Aiman was with Malaysia’s largest law firm based in KL and then joined a leading global Islamic Finance advisory firm based out in Dubai, UAE and hence, has vast experience dealing with clients from worldwide countries particularly within the MENA and SEA region.

He is based in Dubai and in charge of the Middle East & North Africa (“MENA”) region business activities of the Firm and largely deals with cross-border transactions.
